This comes just two years after Centrum Printing ordered a large-format Rapida. Back then the company expanded 3.5 times with a Rapida 162a to target new markets: printing packaging and displays for its own customers and partner companies. The concept was successful as the new Rapida 145 will ramp-up capacities further in the future.

The new press will be equipped with the same features as the company’s existing press. It is a six-colour Rapida with coater and extended delivery. It is equipped for UV hybrid operation so it can cover the biggest range of finishing options. The press’ automated features include fully-automatic plate changing, CleanTronic Multi washing systems and lowerable non-stop rollers in the delivery. Before confirming the order Centrum general manager Sandra Mascaro began her visit with a tour of the KBA stand at Drupa.
