When you purchase a new Rapida sheetfed offset press, you have a personal contact from the Service Select team at your side from the very beginning. From planning of the ideal press location through to your first printed job – we are on site whenever you need us to support smooth implementation of the whole project. We take care of reliable delivery, professional installation and quality-oriented commissioning. At the same time, we make provisions for the training of your personnel.

But our intensive support does not end there: We also remain your reliable advisor and partner at all times throughout the warranty period and beyond.

Project planning

Your personal contact performs various analyses, ranging from system and demand analyses to energy consulting. He provides you with professional advice on the ideal press location, personnel requirements and the installation schedule. All agreements and requirements are recorded in the advance documentation and a pre-installation report.

Delivery

Transport to the intended production location is entrusted to carefully selected and experienced partners of Koenig & Bauer. We coordinate the whole process to ensure problem-free delivery and offloading of the press at your site.

Installation

Swift and successful installation of the new press is the task of our experienced engineers. These specialists know your press right down to the last screw, but nevertheless attend regular further training to ensure that they stay abreast of the latest developments. Perfect coordination and realisation of the installation work is extremely important to us. This also includes regular information for you, the customer, on the progress to date.

Instruction

To ensure that you achieve optimum results with your new press, experienced print instructors provide training for your personnel during the course of the installation. A focus is placed on the necessary makeready for a new job, work at the console, and the proper maintenance and care of all relevant press components. We bring your operators up to date on the latest developments in print technology.

Press acceptance

Professional acceptance testing (to agreed specifications or a contractually defined standard) is the final step before your new press enters full production. In addition, we recommend that a Koenig & Bauer instructor stays on site to accompany your first few jobs. Upon request, this production support can also be extended for a longer contract period.
